About me...

Hi there! My name is Tomi Simenson and I appreciate you stopping by the website!

I am a self-taught artist and photographer, and drawing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Even during classes in High School, you would find my doodles on every sheet of paper I had. Growing up on a ranch, I had the opportunity to be around the most amazing kind of lifestyle that any person is lucky enough to enjoy. This is where I fell in love with horses and the cowboy way of life. From Ranch work to rodeos, you can find me there trying to capture every bit of detail, and putting it on paper to make it as realistic as possible. From the detail in the leatherwork on tack, the sweat marks on a horse, or the fine lines in an old cowboy’s hand, I strive to capture the beauty of it all, and do my best to bring those pieces to life, so that my audience can enjoy it just as I have. My favorite mediums to use are pencil, charcoal, and watercolors. I currently sell my pieces at local art events, art shows, and on social media. You can also find me showing off my Quick Draw skills at local events, or on Facebook. This is where I start from a blank page and draw an image in under 30 minutes, where they are then auctioned off. My quick draws are quickly gaining popularity, and starting to become my niche, which makes me love sharing them even more. If I’m not busy trying to make some new pieces, you will find me building floral arrangements for Shores Floral, chasing kids, clipping on show cattle, and hanging with my cows. I love that I have been blessed with such creative talents, and I enjoy being able to share them all with you as well.
